Overnight Wednesday, a tornado outbreak injured 17 people and damaged an estimated 500 homes across Mississippi. The National Weather Service confirmed at least three tornadoes spanning Lincoln, Franklin, Lawrence, Adams, and Lamar Counties, with two rated EF3. Entire communities, including a mobile home park in Bogue Chitto, were destroyed.
